CHANGE GOT ME FEELING ANXIOUUUUS BROZAY

CHANGE GOT ME FEELING ANXIOUUUUS BROZAY

Location: This comfy ass rug I bought for my spot.

Time: 9:24 PM

After chasing my dads dog around earlier today, I realized how trash I am. The fact that I don’t have the stamina to be running around the yard is concerning because I am in my early 20’s. The more I think about it though, trying to catch a very energetic dog is also one of the top 5 hardest things to do (trying to dodge a 40 mph chancleta thrown by an angry Latina mom is up there too). This has nothing to do with the blog but it made me realize that I have to get back to the gym ASAP.

Along with harsh reality, change is also one of those things that can be really hard to deal with. Personally, I think change is great and necessary. However, just because I think its a good thing DOESN’T mean I don’t get anxious about it. I’m not going to hold you…change usually scares the SHIT out of me most of the time. Theres a lot of different factors that contribute to this but its a real thing and its totally normal. If you are thinking about changing something in your life and you are nervous af ITS OKAY (90% of the people reading this feel the same way).

I’m going through a lot of changes right now as we speak. (well as I type…s/o to you if you made it this far). Im currently transitioning to a new job in a whole new industry and new people. BTW the whole quitting thing is weird because I felt as if I was breaking up with a girlfriend. I am also trying to tighten up my circle and trying to surround myself with the right energy that I need. This requires change and all sorts of shit that comes along with handling relationships and other peoples emotions. But it is something I NEED and putting yourself first is important at times like this. Changing your everyday environment is going to mess up your flow but in the long run it will help you. It can also be possible that it can makes things worse and maybe you didn’t need to do the whole switch up. There is honestly only one way to find out if your “change” was the right move. Its like that whole “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”… trust me I’m not one to be throwing all these cliche quotes around but this one is pretty valid.

There is something beautiful about putting yourself out of your comfort zone (I’ll touch about this more in a later post). It gives you the chance to really get to learn more about the things you do and don’t like. It doesn’t have to be anything extreme like moving to a new state and starting over. It can be as simple as trying new food or a new hair style. The best thing about it all is that if you aren’t happy then you can remove yourself from the new situation. Change is not an enemy…its something that you should embrace. I challenge you guys to finally build up the balls and make those changes you been contemplating. I also challenge you to get OUT of your comfort zone…you NEVER know what you’ll discover about yourself.

When you do… holla at me I would love to hear about your experience.

LOVE
