CANNABIS AND COFFEE

CANNABIS AND COFFEE

Time: 11:29 PM

Location: La sala

The other day I came across a very dope spot and so here I am writing about it because I think its a cool idea that should be around more. I’ve blogged about food in the past and I told myself that I would blog about any cool places I go to so enjoy :)

Last weekend I had the chance to go to Toronto for a few days to explore the city and to have a little mental reset in a new environment. Toronto has been on my list of “must go to” cities and well..it didn’t disappoint. I’ll probably end up writing about my whole experience some other time but today I wanna talk to you about Cannabis and Coffee. They are not a dispensary but it is definitely the place to go to after you visit one. When we walked in, the first thing that pops out are these vibrant murals of famous cereal characters all over the walls. The unique thing about these characters is that they are all “high” which goes along with the theme of the coffee shop.

The second thing that we noticed was that there is a WHOLE rare cereal and pop tart market that I personally didn’t know existed. They had Birthday cake Cookie Crisps, Jolly Rancher pop tarts, Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes..just a whole bunch of things you are not finding at your local supermarket. As far as coffee goes, I personally am not even a big coffee drinker. I usually love going to coffee shops just because its a good place for me to vibe and write but this coffee was valid. I honestly just copied whatever my girlfriend got. It was some type of mocha with espresso…a latte I think? I should probably know this but I don’t so just take my word… it DEFINITELY hit the spot.

While we stood there trying to figure out what we were getting, the guy behind the counter (who was super cool s/o to him) explained that this was just a big munchie spot. A place for people to go and play some board games, drink coffee, and eat cereal after they smoke their weed. Of course its open to EVERYONE and you don’t have to be high to enjoy some cool painting and exotic cereal… but I think its brilliant to have a designated munchie spot. This was the first time I have personally seen one and it turned out to be a very entertaining experience.

This is 100% not your average coffee shop and I think that is what makes this place dope. Its not many places you can go to eat some peanut butter Cap’n Crunch while starring at a “Cap’n Kush” mural. For those who do smoke, the cashier told her that people are not allowed to smoke inside but there is a patio outside where people go and do what they do. If you guys like cereal and find yourself in Toronto I definitely would recommend this place to everyone. Think about it.. good coffee, pop tarts, and a place to get some fire off guard pics for your IG.. not a bad place to go check out.

LOVE,

DAAZED
